As someone who only has a fleeting interest in things, there are few things that I have stuck with from childhood to adulthood (except for sleeping). Approaching thirty, my interest in things has always remained in the realm of thoughts, too afraid to start. It seems that without starting, there is no giving up.
With more and more attention to various content creators and having watched numerous vlogs, I have also had the idea of using vlogs to document my life. After learning about how to plan a vlog, how to edit videos, color grading, and various other tutorials, I realized that creating a good vlog requires considering many factors, and the script is very important. It also requires a good editing device. After careful consideration, I decided to put this big project on hold for now.
By chance, I discovered xLog (thanks to @diygod), which is ad-free, blockchain-based, and web3. It attracted me. Not needing a domain name and being free (you can even make money) simplifies the process of building a website to the extreme. Compared to vlogs, the workload of a blog is much smaller. I can focus on creating content first and develop my own style and series.
Another important reason for writing a blog is to exercise my writing skills. I have many thoughts in my mind, but when I write them down, only a few words remain. It has taken me nearly two hours to write these few hundred words. As an introverted person who is not good at expressing myself, I still want to struggle a bit more.
Therefore, in the spring of 23, I have decided to start my blogging career. I will share what I see, hear, think, and ponder, and recommend some useful software and tools. And while I'm at it, I'll see how long this fleeting interest can last.
Wish me endless enthusiasm and regular updates in the future!
